Scope of work:

Conducted a thorough site survey to assess existing infrastructure along the route from the Community Center to BIC and the South Rim Wastewater Treatment Plant, identifying obstacles like utilities and road crossings. Developed a detailed installation plan for cable routing and conduit placement, minimizing service disruptions. Procured necessary materials, including a 24-strand fiber optic cable, 4-inch conduit, and 3-cell Maxcell interduct, ensuring industry compliance. Excavated trenches and installed conduit with proper alignment, securing it with fasteners. Placed Maxcell interduct within the conduit, routing the fiber optic cable while maintaining minimum bend radius. Pulled and spliced the cable as needed, using appropriate equipment to avoid tension. Conducted testing, verifying cable integrity and signal transmission, and documented results. Sealed access points, restored disturbed surfaces, and stored coiled splicing slack in manholes for future maintenance.
