In June 2024, ACG launched a comprehensive perimeter and facility fencing upgrade for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at the Port Isabel Detention Center in Los Fresnos, Texas. With over $1.1 million in project value, this mission-critical effort reflects ACG’s continued commitment to secure, code-compliant, and high-performance infrastructure for federal facilities.

Scope of Work

The project encompasses a broad range of demolition, replacement, and repair services across several high-security areas within the Port Isabel facility. ACG is providing all labor, materials, equipment, and oversight necessary to complete the work in full compliance with manufacturer specifications and government standards.

Key components of the scope include:

  • Demolition of approx. 1,000 linear feet of existing fencing

  • Replacement of approx. 2,800 linear feet of perimeter and partition fencing

  • Repair of 2 sally ports, critical to controlled facility access

The project encompasses a broad range of demolition, replacement, and repair services across several high-security areas within the Port Isabel facility.
